Building new custom pc

New member
Hey guys,

The pc I had been using for the past few years recently died on me.
I'm wanting to build my own custom pc but I'm not sure on which parts I should use.
My budget is ~$1100-1350 without monitor, keyboard/mouse and headset..
I'm going to be using this pc 95% for gaming.

Here's what I have so far

GPU : Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked GDDR5 - believe it is 3.5GB
CPU : i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)
HSF : Noctua NH-U12 S 5 Heatpipe,120mm CPU Cooler Cooling
Mobo : MSI ATX Z97 GAMING 7 DDR3 2600
Ram : Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
HDD : Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive
SSD : Crucial BX100 250GB SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive
Power : EVGA 220-GS-0650-V1 80 PLUS GOLD 650 W
Case : Rosewill Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer Case Cases THOR V2 Black

I've been researching on parts for about a week, but not sure if these are all compatible.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks great to me.

Only thing which is personal for me is I like the MSI GTX 970 Gaming better. Quieter since it uses two larger fans but more importantly it'll match the blue/black color scheme of the motherboard. Looks like you were trying to do that with the memory as well.
