Apple Announces iPhone 7, 7 Plus, Available September 16


Making good on their press invite sent several weeks ago, Apple recently announced their new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones along with new Airpods wireless headphones and Apple Watch 2.

While the outer appearance of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus hasn’t changed a whole lot, Apple has done quite a bit of work internally to make the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus stand out significantly from its predecessors.

Possible iPhone 7 Packaging Leaked Ahead of Press Event

Lots of leaks are flowing online as Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at their press event tomorrow, September 7, 2016.

Recently images surfaced from tech site Techtastic showing what’ll possibly be the packaging for the upcoming iPhone 7. While the image of the phone does look like a possible version of the iPhone 7, the authenticity of the packaging is still questionable due to the strange font used for the iPhone logo on the side of the box. Unfortunately, additional details were not captured in this image which would describe the model of the phone depicted.

Apple Sends Out Invites for September 7th Press Event

Get ready for some new Apple announcements as Apple recently sent out invitations to their annual press event. The press event which will be hosted at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco will start at 10:00AM on Wednesday, September 7th.

Rumors floating around the internet suggest that the event will likely include the announcement of a new iPhone which won’t be a complete redesign of the current generation iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, but will include improvements such as a better camera, faster SoC and no headphone jack. Alongside the new iPhone, Apple may also touch on upcoming iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10.
