Ryobi Launches 18V One+ Cooling Cooler

Summer is here and to help you beat the heat, Ryobi recently announced a new cooler that helps you take the cool air from inside the cooler to hopefully your body outside the cooler.

Dubbed the Ryobi 18V One+ Cooling Cooler, or P3370, the 50 quart cooler features a transfer pump embedded in the unit which is connected to an air vent. This fan then pulls cool air from inside the cooler and shoots it out of the adjustable vent up top to provide cool and comfortable, ice cooled air for the user. Well, until the ice melts or the battery runs out. According to Ryobi, a single included P102 battery will last 4 hours, so that should be enough time to get a second battery [...]

DEWALT Launches XP Tape Measure DWHT36225

In a recent press release, DEWALT launched their new DEWALT XP Tape Measure (Model# DWHT36225) which has been significantly upgraded over its predecessor.

The new DEWALT XP Tape Measure packs numerous features. The exterior design has been upgraded, now featuring impact resistant ABS and rubber casing designed to protect the DEWALT XP from drops up to 60 ft, integrated lock protection to guard the lock button when dropped and a built in lanyard slot to provide the tape measure extra security if needed.

Hitachi Unveils G12VE 4-1/2-inch AC Brushless Variable Speed Angle Grinder

In a recent announcement, Hitachi Power Tools launched the new G12VE, a new 4-1/2-inch AC Brushless Variable Speed Angle Grinder, as the newest addition to Hitachi’s expanding commercial tool lineup.

The G12VE model features a 12 Amp AC Brushless motor capable of up to a massive 1,300w of input power and a variable speed of 2,800-10,000 RPMs with no load speed. Unique for Hitachi’s AC Brushless motor is that it’s ultra efficient which allows the use of ultra-long extension cables with reduced power less, extends product life and eliminates maintenance of carbon brushes and armatures.

Makita Launches XDT12M 18V Brushless Impact Driver

Makita is launching their new flagship 18v brushless impact driver, the new XDT12M, which appears to be the US version of the Makita DTD170 18v brushless impact driver.

The new Makita XDT12M will feature four speeds with the maximum speed setting capable of up to 3,600 max RPMs and 1,550 in-lbs of maximum torque. The XDT12M will also feature two modes – an Assist mode for driving fasteners at low speeds to avoid screw cam-out or cross threading, while a Quick-Shift Tightening allows for faster tightening of self-drilling screws while preventing damage.
