Hitachi Unveils G12VE 4-1/2-inch AC Brushless Variable Speed Angle Grinder 1

In a recent announcement, Hitachi Power Tools launched the new G12VE, a new 4-1/2-inch AC Brushless Variable Speed Angle Grinder, as the newest addition to Hitachi’s expanding commercial tool lineup.

The G12VE model features a 12 Amp AC Brushless motor capable of up to a massive 1,300w of input power and a variable speed of 2,800-10,000 RPMs with no load speed. Unique for Hitachi’s AC Brushless motor is that it’s ultra efficient which allows the use of ultra-long extension cables with reduced power less, extends product life and eliminates maintenance of carbon brushes and armatures.

As its name implies, it accepts 4-1/2-inch wheel accessories and an easy to use spindle lock makes it easy to change out accessories. Protecting the motor is electric overload protection, kick-back reduction and zero restart protection.

The Hitachi G12VE is currently available on Amazon. More information about the G12VE is available on Hitachi’s website here.
