Makita Launches XDT12M 18V Brushless Impact Driver

Makita Launches XDT12M 18V Brushless Impact Driver 1

Makita is launching their new flagship 18v brushless impact driver, the new XDT12M, which appears to be the US version of the Makita DTD170 18v brushless impact driver.

The new Makita XDT12M will feature four speeds with the maximum speed setting capable of up to 3,600 max RPMs and 1,550 in-lbs of maximum torque. The XDT12M will also feature two modes – an Assist mode for driving fasteners at low speeds to avoid screw cam-out or cross threading, while a Quick-Shift Tightening allows for faster tightening of self-drilling screws while preventing damage.

The Makita XDT12M will come in a kit with two 18V LXT 4Ah batteries, a rapid charger and a case. The Makita XDT12M is currently available on Amazon.
