Ssd

Could you do a review on a PCI-e SSD? I have heard they are fast, but that's about all I've heard about them.

Yeah I have done the OCZ PCIe SSDs in the past, but not lately and not with the new testing I do. Most of the PCIe SSDs are meant for enterprise though, which is why I don't do much with them. I'll see what I can do about getting some PCIe SSD reviews in. Which one in particular are you interested in?

I am not sure, most seem way out of any budget I will ever have, but perhaps a cheaper one that out preforms a sata one? I didn't even know these existed until a month or so ago.

Pretty much any PCIe SSD will (or at least should) outperform a SATA drive, but they'll be at least 2-3x the cost of a SATA SSD. Usually for general consumer use it's much better to go with a SATA RAID 0 setup than a PCIe solution.
